English → Polish and Chinese → Polish technical translations
I have been an English to Polish and Chinese to Polish translator since 2004.
A native Polish speaker with well over ten years of translation experience, I have developed expertise in the fields of mechanical engineering and software localization.
I have two years of experience working as a quality assurance manager for a Polish company importing faucet components from China.
I spent four years working as a trade manager in a company importing building materials from China.
I was an intern at a chemical factory in China for over six months, where I participated in the production process and carried out laboratory tests.
I spent over six years in China, where I worked at times as a manager and at times as a translator and interpreter.
Immediately after I had graduated from the Chinese Department of the University of Warsaw, I found myself in China as a quality assurance manager dealing mostly with faucet components made of: brass, zamac, plastic, etc.
After I had started working on my own as an interpreter and translator in China, I was introduced to various industries, including: welding equipment, furniture (including hardware), textiles, dairy products, bio-gas engines, production lines for various products.
Polish is my native language.
I hold an MA degree in Chinese awarded by the University of Warsaw.
I also have an MA in English Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialized Translation, both awarded by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
I taught Chinese at a university in Poland for two years.
